Thomas Hanna (American, 1872-1951), Light on the Gulf
oil on Masonite, signed at lower left, retaining exhibition labels to verso, presented in the original frame.
Frame dimensions 14 3/4 x 18 3/4 in.
Thomas Hanna was a well known illustrator for numerous publications including Harpers, Scribners and the Saturday Evening Post. He studied at Yale University and the Art Students League in New York. He was a member of the Old Lyme Art Association.
