Late George III Mahogany Writing Table, stamped William Wilkinson
Stamped: 'WILKINSON LUDGATE HILL' and numbered '7682'.
With leather inset writing surface, on casters.Â
28 1/2 x 6 ft. x 40 1/2 in.
Note: William Wilkinson began trading at 14 Ludgate Hill, London in 1808. The stamp on this desk was used until circa 1820.

Condition
Stamped leather inset top faded with scuffs, stains and marks. Molding on drawers and along edge of desk missing in places. Scratches, nicks and small age cracks to the wooden surface. Age cracks to some drawer bottoms. In generally good condition. Structurally sound. Good scale, handsome piece.Â
