A FAMILLE ROSE BISCUIT PORCELAIN ‘EIGHT DAOIST IMMORTALS’ FACETED GINGER JAR APOCRYPHAL MARK OF EMPEROR YONGZHENG CHINA, LATE QING DYNASTY, LATE 19TH CENTURY It rests on a short unglazed foot and has a faceted globular body topped by a dome-shaped lid. It is molded with the Eight Daoist Immortals and finely painted in famille rose enamels against a turquoise blue ground. The base bears an apocryphal mark of Emperor Yongzheng, a four-character one in iron red and in kaishu script.
