A FAMILLE ROSE PALETTE ‘LADIES AT PLAY’ PORCELAIN ROULEAU VASE, BANGCHUIPING APOCRYPHAL MARK OF EMPEROR KANGXI CHINA, 20TH CENTURY It is finely painted in vivid famille rose enamels with a continuous landscape with ladies at play along a river, including two reading a book and one trying to land a fish. It is also inscribed with a calligraphy combined with three red seals. The base bears an apocryphal mark of Emperor Qianlong, a four-character one within a double square.
