A Grouping of Georgian and Victorian Silver Flatware
(8) pieces, including a tablespoon with mark of Benjamin Davis, London, 1823, with later decoration to bowl, without monogram (8 3/4 in.); (2) tablespoons, one with mark of Hester Bateman, 1776 date mark, the other spoon with worn marks, both with similar later engraved decoration to handle and bowl, and matching script monograms (8 3/8 in.); (3) Kings pattern teaspoons, Edinburgh, marks of John Hay (1873), Millidge & Son (1874), and Charles Henry Farquharson/John Wilke (1850), two with monograms; a small pierced tea ladle, mark of William Eley, William Fearn & William Chawner, London, 1829 date mark, engraved figural design to handle (4 1/4 in.); pierced bon bon spoon with thistle form stem and handle, worn marks, no monogram (6 1/4 in.).
