Chinese moonflask vase, Qianlong mark but late 19th C, well potted compressed globular form rising from the foot to a cylindrical neck flanked by a pair of archaistic scroll handles below a flared mouth. brightly painted with stylised lotus sprays suspending beribboned qing and knots, all between ruyi and lappet bands. covered in a turquoise glaze to base inscribed with a six-character "Qianlong" seal mark in iron-red.
