An oast, oast house or hop kiln is a building designed for kilning hops as part of the brewing process.
Born in Guernsey in 1938, Paul Bisson went on to study at Elizabeth University and Guernsey and Shebbear College in Devon. Eventually, he established a large studio where he created plates for several commissions from institutions such as Christie's Contemporary Art, The National Trust, and America and Reich British Art.
