This colorful bird tree displays eleven different birds. Each carving is mounted on a branch which is set in a painted wooden base. Signed with the maker's stylized "Frank Finney" ink stamp on the bottom of the base. Carved in the Pennsylvania tradition, this notable work is one of the artist's great pieces of folk art.
Original paint with light wear.
