MID-ATLANTIC CLASSICAL MAHOGANY AND BIRDS-EYE MAPLE SIDEBOARD-FORM MINIATURE BLANKET CHEST, featuring hinged rectangular top with applied moldings and sliding batten affixed to the underside, concealing an open interior with lidded till, case set with a false drawer with period Sandwich opalescent glass pulls above four turned columns, raised on turned legs terminating in ball feet. Pine, poplar, and walnut secondary woods. Retains a fine old surface with warm color. Circa 1840. 12" H, 15 3/4" W, 8 3/4" D.

Excellent original condition, one pull with moderate chip, minor wear.
