LOUIS ICART (French, 1888-1950). Casanova, circa 1928, Color etching and aquatint depicts an elegantly dressed woman wearing a masquerade mask in the arms of a dashing Casanova as he pulls to the side a heavy drape exposing a bed in the background. Pencil hand-signed by artist "Louis Icart" and numbered 299 of an edition of 500. With the windmill blindstamp lower left and copyright information in the plate upper left: "Editions d'Art Devambez, 23 Rue Lavoisier Paris." Framed. - 20 x 13 inches; frame: 29 x 21.
