PAT GARRETT SIGNED SUBPOENA FOR CAPTURE OF JEROME BEALL AT BLAZER MILL.
GARRETT, PATRICK FLOYD. 1850-1908. Autograph Endorsement Signed ('Pat F. Garrett'), on the verso of a Lincoln County Subpoena, November 10, 1881, at Blazer's Mill, 1 p, 214 x 182 mm, partially printed and accomplished in manuscript, embossed stamp of 'U.S. DISTRICT COURT OF NEW MEXICO,' Garrett's note to the verso certifying the serving of 'Beel' [sic], and noting the other man 'John Harris not found,' docketed by Fred Bowman, closed tears at ends of folds.
SIGNED PAT GARRETT SUBPOENA IN THE YEAR HE KILLED BILLY THE KID, and served at Blazer's Mill which was integral to incitation of the Lincoln County Wars.
Blazer's Mill was where the Regulators and Billy Kid first caught up to and killed Buckshot Roberts at the beginning of the Lincoln County Wars, but not before he killed or wounded a number of their posse.
