FIRST EDITION, WITH THE RARE FIRST ISSUE JACKET priced '7/6' on front flap. It's a Battlefield sold slowly at first, but earned critical praise from Ford Madox Ford, Ezra Pound and V.S. Pritchett, among others. Very scarce in the first issue dust jacket, and this copy with an interesting provenance. Wobbe A6a.
