Circa 1920s Continental Black Lacquered Storage Cabinet on Stand, with gold chinoiserie figural, floral and landscape decoration; top section having a hinged lid with interior owl decoration and open storage, two cabinet doors below open to a fitted interior with eight drawers and central cubbyhole door, wide drawer below, with key to top lid, central doors and lower drawer; set on a stand with intricately carved apron, central stretcher and feet; top and lower sections with "Jack L. Palmaro Furniture Decorators, New York City" label affixed to back; 54" high, 28 1/2" x 15 1/4". Minor surface wear and paint losses; one escutcheon loose.
