A MID 19TH CENTURY CARVED AGATE, DIAMOND AND TURQUOISE NECKLACE/TRIO OF BRACELETS CIRCA 1850The graduated panels carved with various grotesque masks after the antique, with collet set rose cut diamond eyes, in rose gold settings, to circular cabochon turquoise and mine cut diamond quatrefoil links, with concealed claspsSize/dimensions: necklace 50.5cm long, bracelets approximately 17cm long Gross weight: 59 grams
Condition
There are lead repairs to the links, three masks are missing an eye, there is general wear to the settings from use, the clasps are currently in good working order, although one doesn't fit the slot as well as the other two when worn as a necklace. Some discolouration to the turquoise. There may be a quatrefoil link missing- at one of the bracelets starts and finishes as a mask, this bracelet also has a heavily repaired link- the repair is noticeable from the reverse
