VIN: CT 28393L Engine #: CT23577 Body #: 28584 CTMileage: 31,800

With a 2138 cc inline four cylinder engine with twin Stromberg carburetors, and a four-speed manual transmission.

Exterior in a red repaint with grey pinstripe and a black vinyl interior with new black carpet. Appears to have a new dash to include walnut fascia. A black vinyl tonneau cover is included, but no boot cover present. With 15" painted 60 spoke wire wheels with knockoffs, and fender mounted chrome mirrors.

Evidence of recent clutch and brake master cylinder replacement; new stainless exhaust; Crane Electronic Ignition added; newer battery and constantly on a battery tender; runs and droves as expected.
True to his racing interest, he should own the car that dominated SCCA races in the early to mid 60's. The TR4 won in its class often, and beat exotics from Ferrari and others. Chip loved to race. He was competitive in Formula V racing and owned several cars for competition. He raced at road courses all over the east coast, and The Virginia International Speedway was his favorite.
