Vintage c1940s large on-point four patch quilt with measuring 84 x 89 inches. Two pink squares and two hand embroidered squares followed by a plain white frame with four more embroidered blocks are set within pink triangles at each corner. Two sides have a pink and white pieced square border. All four sides have a pink border with cornerstones. It is machine pieced, hand embroidered in cross stitch, and hand quilted. Thin cotton batting and white cotton reverse. Quilt is believed to be from Missouri. In good condition with a several spots, edge wear and minor thread loss in the embroidery.
