367 清 白玉地藏菩薩坐像
H14.9cm
白玉質，凝脂含光，溫潤細膩，局部有褐色沁。地藏菩薩頭戴毗盧冠，耳垂及肩，兩頰豐滿，鼻樑高挺，雙瞼微垂，唇閉合，似為入定狀態，法相高貴莊嚴。身形端正，著通肩衲衣，衣紋層疊流暢，胸前飾瓔珞，雙手於臍前結禪定印，結全跏趺坐，神情安然，平靜而祥和。整體造形端莊，雕琢工藝生動寫實，為玉雕藝術佳品。
地藏菩薩，梵名Ksitigarbha，中文譯音克施地嘎訶帕，為八大菩薩之一，密宗又稱之為悲願金剛、與願金剛或金剛幢。《地藏十輪經》：「地藏菩薩，每日晨朝，入恒河沙定。從定起已，遍於十方諸佛國土，成就一切所化有情，隨其所應，利益安樂。」在釋迦佛入滅以後，彌勒未生之前，地藏菩薩自誓必度盡六道眾生，始願成佛；眾生不度，誓不成佛，深受世人敬仰。
