A pair of George III sterling silver candlesticks, Sheffield 1812 by John Roberts & Co

Each base of circular form with a gadrooned edge leading to a fluted section below a fluted knop, the tapering part-fluted column with a gadrooned edge terminating in a campana form half-fluted capital. Each with removable circular sconces with a gadrooned edge. Filled, inset turned mahogany bases. Each fully marked to the edge and part-marked to the sconces. (2)
