An early 20th century Chinese Export silver small tea caddy or inkwell, Canton circa 1900
Qing dynasty. Of cube form with a pull off domed cylindrical cap. The cap chased with a chou symbol. The body with a panel of; bamboo, flowering prunus, chrysanthemums, a riverside scene with fir trees and a mountainscape. The last panel also with a vacant circular cartouche. Marked underneath 90 and artisan mark HUI LAI 惠耒.
