A George I silver and mother of pearl snuff box, probably London circa 1720
Of oval form with a moulded edge and a stand away hinge. The lid inset with a carved oval mother of pearl panel as a scallop shell, the underside set with a plain mother of pearl panel. Gilt interior.
Length – 8.2 cm / 3.25 inches
