Tianhuang Buddhist Lion with Two Cubs Playing Ball Square Seal Inscribed by Xubo

Of square section surmounted by a well carved seated muscular lion with its head turned playfully towards its two cubs, both escalading its back. The stone a warm amber-honey colour with lighter mottling.

程庭鹭（1798-1859），初名振鹭， 改名庭鹭， 字序伯，号蘅乡， 晚又号箬盦，上海嘉定人。诸生，早年问业于陈文述。工词章，兼善书画篆刻。
