CARLO MANZONI (1855-1910), AN ARTS AND CRAFTS POTTERY BOTTLE VASE, incised decoration of green leaves, blue, yellow and red flowers, incised marks. 18cm high Note: Carlo Manzoni had a short-lived career at Della Robbia pottery under Harold Rathbone and Conrad Dressler from 1893 to 1895, when he left the company to form Minerva Art Ware Manufacturers, renting space in the Granville Pottery, Stoke-on-Trent. In 1898 he left the company in the hands of his staff and returned to Della Robbia, where he continued to work until 1906
