A very nice late 19th century Imperial Russian gilt silver salt cellar modeled as a miniature throne featuring hand engraved floral motifs and an inscription in Old Church Slavonic: With No Salt And No Bread - A Half Of A Dinner. Hallmarked on the bottom with 84 silver standard, George the Victorious for Moscow, maker's mark: AK, assay mark: BC under the date 1873.
