Roman, Imperial Period, ca. 1st to 3rd century CE. A beautiful sterling silver bracelet of wearable form adorned with 4 iridescent fragments of Roman glass as well as 3 Roman coins. Each coin features the right-facing profile of a prominent figure, perhaps an emperor, and each oblong glass fragment bears hues of blue beneath the rainbow-colored iridescence. Each component is displayed within a form-fitting setting, and the terminals are set with a T-bar on one end and a series of ringlets on the other.
