Description
Ornate gilt albums full of colorful cards, nicely arranged, mostly from Rockland, Maine. The smaller album is inscribed inside front board "Made in 1880 by Walter M. Milliken, presented to his mother, Mary Johnston Milliken. Presented by her in 1911 to her Great-Grandson Ralph Frederick Calkin. Each page is centered on a large chromo litho, surrounded by trade and calling cards, circa 1880's, large scale flowers and fruit, 1960's material at back pg larger album. The smaller album is full of 1880s sets of children occupational cards, partly disbound, hundreds of cards, many gold field, some ethnic. 11" X 14" & 9" X 12". Plus some loose, never glued cards.
