Pair of Vintage Stained Glass Table Lamps | Beautiful light amber stained glass with intermittent floral design tiles | Each has a matching ornate decorated brass base; with a candelabra array of 6 sockets | Approx. Size: 32" H x 10" Base Diameter x 18" Shade Diameter | One shade has small sections missing in a few upper tiles (pieces included)(see photos). We believe the lamp is approximately 65 years old. There do no appear to be any markings on the lamp base (although the are covered in felt. The lamp cords can be dated to c.1955 (Gilbert Patent, etc.). We presently have no reason to conclude that the shades are significantly older than the lamp. The glass edges are not wrapped in copper foil, and the soldering technique (intersections)post date 1925.Provenance: The owner is a prominent Nashville country music artist, who inherited the lamps from her mother.
