Marshall"), pleading on behalf of an employee whom he believes has been unjustly charged with violating parole in Indiana and, in a postscript, adding: "[H]aving met you and appreciating your sense of and desire for justice for brother men, I feel privileged to call this to your attention." 1½ pages, 4to, personal stationery, written on two sheets; few minor abrasions to first page, faint scattered soiling, horizontal folds. Detroit, 11 February 1915 "We have in our employ a young man by the name of George W. Tryon. You met this young man when you were Governor of Indiana. He was committed to Jeffersonville for receiving stolen property some four or five years ago and was paroled by your state government. . . .
