Description
A group of four equestrian etchings, early 20th century, each signed in ink, two titled, and two indicated as trial proofs. Note: Paul Desmond Brown was a self-trained artist, primarily working as an illustrator for magazines, periodicals, and advertising. He made illustrations for Brooks Brothers and Polo magazine. One of his illustrations was featured on the cover of Time Magazine in March 1929, and made significant contributions to books published by the Derrydale Press
