A SET OF TWO CHINESE-STYLE PORCELAIN DISHES, 1900s
Japan, late Meiji period (1868-1912) - early Showa period (1926-1989). Consisting of two dishes, the smaller one in Imari style with ducks and flowers at the center, the larger dish with a Ge-type glaze, painted in blue and white, depicting a mountain and river landscape, a brown glazed rim to the border with ornamental motifs, and the base with a carved studio mark.
Provenance: German private collection.
Condition: Good condition with minor wear, hairlines, minuscule chips, and manufacturing imperfections.
