A SET OF A JAPANESE HAND COLORED WOODBLOCK PRINT AND A CHINESE PRINT
Japan and China, c. 1900. The Japanese art work after Katsukawa Shunsho (1726-1792), depicting a winter scene with a lady in kimono and a dog, signed and with kakihan to the lower left. The Chinese print with a prunus branch and flowers surrounded by a poem and with seal mark.
Provenance: German private collection.
Condition: Both in good condition, with minor tears and creases to the Chinese print.
Dimensions:
Size 35.3 x 12.8 cm (Japanese painting) and 45.1 x 32.5 cm (the frame)
Size 23.1 x 20.2 cm (Chinese print) and 39.4 x 35.4 cm (the frame)
With modern wood frames (4).
