LADY WITH LOOM AND MAGPIES', QING DYNASTY
Canton, China, c. 1800. Ink, gilt, and watercolors on paper. Finely painted with a woman standing beside a loom, her left hand resting on a roll of fabric, looking toward the two flying magpies next to her. She is dressed in fine and voluminous robes decorated with bright and colorful designs.

Provenance: French private collection.
Condition: Good condition with minor wear, creasing, as well as little foxing and soiling. Minimal losses.
