With a mintage of 90,629 pieces, the 1845-D is another of the D-mint Fives from this decade that is not too difficult to locate, especially in lower grades. In Mint State, however, it is very seldom encountered. While extensive abrasions can be a problem on this issue, this piece is remarkably clean with no obvious or distracting marks on either side. Additionally I see no overt reason for the details designation, expert possibly some muted luster. 1 of less than 15 known uncirculated examples, and as you can see the example has zero rub! A Corey's Pick, Bid to Win, Don't let it get Away, you might not find its equal Coin. I give this coin my highest recommendation
