Two Chinese Carved Porcelain Vases, 19th Century

Item Details

Description

Two Chinese carved vases dating from the 19th century. Included are: a blue glazed vase carved with a landscape with a 2-character mark, and a sancai rouleau vase featuring a lotus pond scene.

Dimensions are: the larger sancai vase measures 13 1/4 inches tall X 4 1/2 inches wide, 33.65 cm X 11.43 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Provenance: From Mrs. McClellan in Las Vegas, Nevada. The pieces in this collection were acquired in mainland China or Hong Kong from the 1980s to the early 1990s. Lots 26 to 43 are from the same collection.

Condition: The blue vase top rim cut off, the sancai vase is in good condition.
