A Pinxton milk jug and two coffee cans, circa 1800-10
The jug of fluted shape with a thin angular handle, decorated with a pattern of cornflower sprigs alternating with tiny red leaf sprigs, 9.2cm high, one plain can painted with a landscape in sepia monochrome, 6cm high, the other fluted and with a border of heartsease, 6.2cm high (3)

Condition
The jug is in good condition with just a few minute patches of wear to the red line on the rim. The illustrated coffee can has a crack around the lower handle terminal and some wear to the gilding on the rim and to an area of the gilded line above the foot, just to the right of the painted panel. There are some small patches of wear on the handle. The coffee can that is not illustrated in the catalogue has minor wear to the gilding on the rim.
