Description

A Continental Silver Traveling Book-Form Chanukah Lamp.
Mid-19th century, possibly Polish.
Dimensions: length: 3 1/2 in. x height: 2 1/2 in. x depth: .6 in.
Spine: inscribed in Hebrew: Chanukah.
The covers are pierced and engraved with menorahs flanked on one side by a pair of deer and other side by a pair of birds among flowering foliage.
Interior has eight rectangular compartments for lighting, the front four hinged and open to form a straight line of eight.
Approximate weight: 290.5 grams.
Condition: Good original pre-owned estate condition (review all photos for accuracy).
