The current reference was released in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 in 1969 and was limited to 6969 pieces. The manual-winding chronograph movement with Co-Axial escapement (calibre 3861) is housed within a 42mm stainless steel case with a polished 18K 'Moonshine' gold bezel and polished black ceramic bezel ring with a 'Ceragold' tachymeter scale. The hands and baton hour markers are also 18K 'Moonshine' gold, with the chronograph hand being PVD-coated in 'Moonshine Gold'. The watch features a unique hour marker at 11 o'clock and the subsidiary dial at 9 o'clock has a laser-engraved image of Buzz Aldrin climbing down to the moon. There is a further laser-engraved image of Buzz Aldrin's footprint to the case back together with 'Moonshine' gold plated lettering with the quote; 'THAT'S ONE SMALL STEP FOR A MAN' and 'ONE GIANT LEAP FOR MANKIND'.
