Footnotes:
The present lot was produced by Zenith in collaboration with the auction house, Phillips. It was a limited edition run that consisted of two watches; a yellow gold example with a black dial and a steel example with a 'tropical' dial. A total of 69 watches were produced, 20 in gold, such as the current lot and 49 in steel, a gesture towards the year the El Primero was launched, 1969.
