Description
At the base is a six-character seal (made in the reign of Yongzheng of the Qing dynasty) in blue on white underglaze.
Small bowl with foot made of porcelain with decoration outlined in cobalt blue underglaze and filled with green and yellow enamels on the glaze. The term "doucai" means that the decoration is in "both sides" according to the Jingdezhen dialect. This technique was executed in this way because there was no blue glaze on the glaze of sufficient quality. Most of the doucai pieces have a reign mark. surrounded by a double circle and represents a branch of cherry blossoms. On the outside it is decorated with four circles of similar branches, separated by garlands, and framed by a double circle at each end.
The piece is in perfect condition with no breaks or restorations.
