Description
Light green jade in the shape of a pen-washing bowl. It is one of the necessary utensils for traditional Chinese handicrafts and painting. It is common to see them made of porcelain although materials such as jade, agate, enamel, ivory or rhinoceros horn, all precious materials, are widely used. The vessel has a circular profile and two bats carved on the bottom. There is a defect on the rim.
