Item Details

Description

Joey Jones of Floyd, VA. Signed J Jones on base (please also see Lot 36). This is a monumental pot with incised decoration on the body of the base jar. And absolutely incredible lid with an equally incredibly original rhinoceros for a handle. From what we researched, Mr. Jones doesn't appear to be active currently, but was highly popular until middle last decade. The complete pots stands 23.5" tall.

Condition

Overall excellent condition, no condition issues noted. Please note the lower pot is definitely on the heavier side, but it's a great combination of 2 pots.
