Description
Here we have a Supremes handbill produced by Darien House in New York. It was designed by prominent NY fashion illustrator Joseph Eula, and this concert marked the first pop concert allowed at the Lincoln Center. Although Diana Ross and The Supremes had already performed internationally, the groups legendary performances in New York City during 1965 were more than just your run-of-the-mill gigs. These would become defining moments for The Supremes, and arguably a series of defining moments for Motown Records.
