Important George II Carved Mahogany Tripod Table
circa 1750, featuring a choice Santa Domingo figured mahogany single board top with relief carved stepped and molded pie-crust edge, batten and birdcage support, baluster shaped standard featuring robust acanthus leaf carving, tripod base featuring high arched cabriole legs with relief carved acanthus knees, pierced and scrolled return, terminating in hairy paw feet.
29.25 x 32 x 31.75 in.
Retaining a mellow overall surface with pleasing patina.
