This is a stunning high quality silver belt comprised of 3 thick snake chains of 89.4% to 92.46% silver and a buckle made from a 99.28% silver with a screw and bolt closure. The chains are comprised of thick, plaited silver wires- the terminal ends of the chains are covered by the buckle panels, and along the length are loop separators and ovoid floral appliques that decorate and keep the chains in place. The buckle consists of repousse panels with floral and bird motifs and scalloped edges - a magnificent front-piece! The hidden bolt with the ribbed finial tip threads through the center and is fully functional and the belt it wearable. Indentations and abrasions to buckle. Some adhesive reside along area of chains emerging from the buckle. Some dark patina and toning, but very good condition and wearable.
