Scott 69s, which is Never Hinged, has an orange overprint, only traces of which can be seen. An attractive set that is a very hard, undervalued (considering the printing run), group to assemble. (Set of 10).
A Specimen stamp is a specially marked postage stamp sent to postmasters and postal administrators so that they are able to identify genuine postage stamps and avoid forgeries. Usually, specimen stamps are overprinted with the word "Specimen" across the stamp, in ink or perforations. This invalidates the stamps, and identifies them as Specimens.
