Pair of Antique Chinese southern officer chairs. The Back-rest is composed of an elegant S-shaped splat with a design on the upper portion, coupled with angular back-post. The curved arm rails bough outward to accommodate a larger individual. The frontal apron follows the anterior edge all the way down both legs. A rectilinear frame encloses a hard seat. The legs are joined by stepped stretchers and a footrest connects the front pilings. The Huanghuali wood is dense and has been expertly polished to give a glinting sheen as the light hits the surface. Some grain structures may be likened to the shape of ghost faces.

Over all in EXCELLENT condition, with normal anomalies in nature, natural wood imperfection, sign of stressed surface, minor scratch & dent; Normal consider ages and wears.
