Superb Collection the Earliest Soviet Cosmonauts Who Made History Including Titov, Komarov and Volkov (Both Rare), Tereshkova + More. Beautifully assembled collection of 50 individually signed Soviet portrait photos by the earliest men and one woman in the Cosmonaut program of the 1960s Collection includes Titov x 2, Nikolaev x 3, Popovich x 2, Bykovsky (the first Jew in Space) x 4, Valentina Tereshkova (the first female in space) x 2. Also included are two Cosmonauts killed in the line of duty, Vladimir Komarov (famously stepping in for Gagarin knowing the risks) and Vladislav Volkov (Soyuz 11) Also included in this collection is Leonov and Kubasov (ASTP) and Belyaev. This collection is comprised of the first 26 Cosmonauts but missing Gargarin and the two other Soyuz 11 Cosmonauts killed aside from Volkov). Exceptional. Housed in binder and slipcase.
