Interesting letter dated April 8, 1981 on White House letterhead, 9¼ x 6¼", signed by Michael K. Deaver Assistant to the President, Deputy Chief of Staff to W. Ernst Minor, Administrator, Environmental Protection Agency regarding the attempted assasination of President Reagan. "We're all very grateful to have been spared what initially looked like certain tragedy, and I am particularly thankful that I had the good sense to duck when I did. The President and Jim Brady and others are doing very well and business is returning to normal.
