Catalog Note:
Accompanying this vase is the original show card from the Pottery Lovers Convention in Zanesville, Ohio in 1990 and a newspaper clipping, both of which attribute this vase to having been made for August Busch of the Anheuser-Busch Brewing Company in St. Louis. While this attribution is unsubstantiated, the $50 price tag on the original Rookwood label is impressive for 1938.
