A PAIR OF TAPESTRY PANELS EMBLEMATIC OF HOPE AND JUSTICE PROBABLY FLEMISH, LATE 17TH/EARLY 18TH CENTURY Of opposing form with emblematic reclining female figures above a cartouche inscribed 'Spes' and 'Justitia', possibly fragments from a larger pieceone 118 x 67cm, the other 113 x 67cm Provenance: Private Collection, SurreyPurchased by the current vendor from Peta Smyth Antique Textiles, London 13th November 2002 (£3,900).
