**First Time At Auction**
Native American, Southwestern United States, ca. second half of the 20th century CE. A nice set of 2 sterling silver bracelets as well as a wristwatch made by Carefree Timepieces, Japanese Movement. The first bracelet features a lime green turquoise cabochon within a setting flanked by trios of raised nodules and a pair of inward-facing arrows, and the second bracelet features an openwork design with an ovoid turquoise cabochon and a pair of abstract zoomorphic creatures. The wristwatch has inlaid turquoise and dyed resin inlays as well as an adjustable wrist band, and the timepiece still functions as intended! Size of largest (watch): 2.25" L x 1" W (5.7 cm x 2.5 cm); sterling silver quality: 92.7% to 94.4%; total weight: 64.4 grams
Provenance: private Kansas, USA collection, acquired via descent from family in Jalisco, Mexico ca. the 1940s, and imported into the US in the 1970s and 1980s
